What you need:
-olive oil
-an onion
-2 yams peeled and cubed or frozen bag precut
-4 cups veggie or chicken broth
-chives finely minced
-2 carrots finely sliced
-1 red pepper finly sliced
-1 cup water
-edamame without shell
-finely chopped spinach (half cup)
Throw it all in a crock pot heat up and serve!
